Two Dead, One Injured in Bluffton Single-Vehicle Collision

Two dead, one injured
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal single-vehicle collision that occurred in Beaufort County. According to Lance Cpl. Brittany Glover, the accident happened at around 4:15 a.m on May River Road and Buckwalter Parkway, about half a mile east of Bluffton.
Glover stated that the three occupants were traveling east on May River Road when they ran off the road to the left and hit a tree. Sadly, both the driver and one passenger died at the scene while another passenger was taken to hospital for treatment of their injuries.
As of now, authorities have not yet released any information regarding the identities of those involved in this tragic incident. Meanwhile, May River Road has been closed between Buckwalter Parkway and Buck Island Road until further notice.
