Two Drivers Killed in Head-On Collision on I-65 in Nashville

The Metro Nashville Police Department's fatal crash team is investigating a head-on collision that occurred on I-65 early Sunday morning, resulting in the death of both drivers. The two drivers have been identified as 19-year-old Corban Sheridan from Franklin and 36-year-old Kelly Tolliver from Brentwood.
According to the MNPD, a car traveling north on I-65 entered the southbound side of the interstate and collided with another vehicle between Harding Place and Old Hickory Blvd exits. Both drivers were killed in the accident, and there were no other occupants in either car.
All southbound lanes were closed for several hours early Sunday morning while crews worked to remove wreckage from the roadway. The interstate reopened going south around 7:30 am.
