Two Hospitalized After Crash Near Dunbar Exit on I-64

Two individuals were rushed to the hospital following a car accident near the Dunbar exit in the eastbound lanes of I-64. The incident was reported by Metro 911 officials at approximately 4:20 p.m.
Dispatchers confirmed that one person may have been thrown from their vehicle during the crash. Traffic is being diverted to the Institute exit, according to dispatchers.
Emergency responders including the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office, Institue Volunteer Fire Department, Dunbar Fire Department and Kanawha County medics are currently on site.
