Two Injured in Crash on Mt. Olivet Road

One person transported to hospital, another had non-life threatening injuries
Two individuals sustained injuries following a crash that occurred in the 3300 block of Mt. Olivet Road on Monday morning, according to reports from the Richardsville Fire Department.
Emergency services were alerted to the incident at approximately 6:22 a.m., prompting a swift response from fire officials. Upon arrival at the scene, responders discovered a truck lodged within a thicket adjacent to the roadway.
The vehicle had veered off course and traveled an estimated distance of 40 to 50 feet before coming to rest amidst the grassy area. Due to its precarious positioning and the condition of the driver, one person had to be extricated from inside the truck with assistance from emergency personnel.
Fortunately, another individual managed to exit the vehicle unaided. The driver was subsequently transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for further medical attention. Meanwhile, it remains unclear whether or not the passenger required hospitalization as their injuries were reported as non-life threatening.
Assisting agencies including Medical Center EMS and Warren County Sheriff's Office provided support during this incident which caused temporary disruption along Mt. Olivet Road earlier today.
Authorities are currently investigating what led up to this accident while reminding motorists about practicing caution when navigating roadways.
