Two Injured in I-235 Crash in Wichita, Kansas

Two people were injured on Wednesday morning after a crash occurred on I-235, just north of Kellogg. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, at around 8:13 a.m., a 2010 Ford F-250 was traveling northbound on I-235 when it hydroplaned and hit the median. The truck then rolled over at least three times before coming to rest in the right lane of southbound I-235.

The driver of the truck and his passenger sustained minor injuries and were taken to Wesley Medical Center for treatment. The identities of those involved have not been released yet.

As a result of the accident, KHP closed down I-235 to work on clearing up the scene but has since reopened it. Dispatchers for KHP confirmed that one person was transported to hospital with injuries but could not provide any further details about their condition.

Traffic is being diverted onto Kellogg while southbound I-235 remains closed until further notice. Motorists are advised to take alternate routes or expect delays if they must travel through this area during peak hours.
