Two Killed in Car-Train Collision in Liberty County

An investigation is currently underway after a fatal accident involving a train and a vehicle occurred on Monday morning. According to officials from the Department of Public Safety, two people were killed in the incident which took place in Liberty County, Texas.
The victims were traveling northbound on FM 160 when their vehicle collided with the train at around 11:46 a.m. The crash occurred just north of Highway 90 and both individuals died at the scene. As of now, their identities have not been released.
