Two Killed, Four Injured in Birmingham Single-Vehicle Accident

Two people died, and four others were injured.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Two people lost their lives and four others were injured in a single-vehicle accident that occurred early Sunday morning in Birmingham.
The accident took place at approximately 5:15 a.m. in the 800 block of Graymont Avenue West. According to Birmingham Fire and Rescue, the vehicle was carrying five women and one man when it crashed.
The driver, a woman, and a man were pronounced dead at the scene. The other passengers, three women and a man, had to be extricated from the vehicle. One of the women is currently in critical condition. All of the injured were transported to UAB Hospital.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation. No further details have been released at this time.
