Two killed in car crash outside Chandler

Jeremiah Sargent lost control, rolled multiple times off the runway and landed on its top side. Sargent was ejected approximately 22 feet from the car. The juvenile who was also killed in the crash was ejected approximately six feet.
On Saturday afternoon, a car crash occurred one mile outside of Chandler resulting in the death of two individuals. According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Jeremiah Sargent, 34 and an unnamed 15-year-old male from Cushing were pronounced dead on the scene due to the accident.
The incident took place around 5:15 p.m. on South 3410 Road just east of East 8090 Road. The report states that Sargent was driving a Chevy Tahoe at high speed when he failed to negotiate a curve causing him to lose control and roll multiple times off the runway before landing upside down.
Sargent was ejected approximately 22 feet from the vehicle while the juvenile who also died in the crash was thrown six feet away. None of them were wearing seatbelts according to OHP reports.
There were three other passengers in the car including another 15-year-old boy and a 27-year-old man from Cushing who sustained injuries and were transported to hospital for treatment.
The cause of this tragic accident is still under investigation by authorities.
