Annemarie McDermott and Richard McDermott Killed in Two-Car Crash in Town of Albion

Two killed, one injured
On Saturday morning, a two-car crash occurred on State Route 104, west of Searles Road, in the Town of Albion. The accident resulted in the death of both occupants of a 2011 Toyota Camry heading westbound.
According to the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office, a 2006 Ford pickup truck was traveling east on State Route 104 when it crossed over and entered the other lane. As a result, it crashed into the Toyota Camry heading towards them.
The driver and passenger of the Camry were identified as Annemarie McDermott (62) and Richard McDermott (66), both from Pulaski. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the pickup truck was identified as Jason Robinson (40) also from Pulaski. He sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to Upstate Hospital for treatment.
Robinson has been issued with a Uniformed Traffic Ticket (UTT) for failing to stay within his driving lane by law enforcement officials investigating this incident. He has since been released from custody.
Several agencies responded to this deadly crash including New York State Police, Altmar Volunteer Fire Department, Northern Oswego County Ambulance Service along with New York State Department of Transportation among others.
This accident remains under investigation by authorities who are yet to determine what caused Robinson's vehicle to cross over into opposing traffic lanes leading up to this tragic event that claimed two lives.
