Two Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash in East Moline

Two people were killed in a multi-vehicle crash early Saturday in East Moline, Illinois. The incident occurred at around 3:00 am on Route 5/92 near Morton Drive. Upon arriving at the scene of the accident, authorities discovered one vehicle engulfed in flames.
The victims who were extracted from the burning vehicle succumbed to their injuries and have yet to be identified by officials. Meanwhile, the driver of another involved vehicle is currently receiving treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
At present, an investigation into the cause of this fatal collision is underway. In light of this tragedy, police are urging anyone with information regarding this incident to contact them immediately via phone or email.
