Two Men Killed and One Injured in Allegheny Township Car Crash
A tragic car crash in Allegheny Township, Pennsylvania has left two men dead and another person injured. The incident occurred on Melwood Road at approximately 9:30 a.m., according to Westmoreland County 911.
Two people died in the crash and a third had to be extradited from a car.
The Westmoreland County Coroner's office identified the victims as Stephen John Dasta, aged 53, and Alan Louis Karadeema, aged 41. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials say that the accident involved a head-on collision between a Lexus RX300 driven by Dasta and Karadeema which crossed over into oncoming traffic hitting a Chevrolet Equinox. Investigators have ruled their deaths as accidental.
The third individual involved was flown to hospital for treatment of injuries sustained during the crash. No further information regarding their condition is currently available.
