Two fatalities

Two people were killed on Thursday morning in a crash involving a tractor-trailer and a vehicle. The incident occurred at the intersection of Zebulon Boulevard and King of Kings Court in Zebulon, North Carolina.

According to reports, both the man and woman who were traveling in the vehicle died as a result of the collision. Both vehicles sustained significant damage.

At this time, it is unclear what caused the accident. Authorities are currently investigating the incident, and as such, "the road may actually be closed for a couple more hours," said officials.

The identities of those involved have not yet been released pending notification of their families.
