Two Laingsburg Teenagers Killed in Car Crash in Sciota Township

Two Laingsburg teenagers lost their lives and two others were injured in a fatal car crash that occurred on Thursday evening. The incident took place at around 10 p.m. on the 8700 block of Colby Lake Road in Sciota Township, Michigan.

According to reports from the Michigan State Police, a 16-year-old driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a ditch before hitting a tree. The impact caused the car to catch fire, resulting in severe injuries for all four teens inside.

The driver and one male passenger aged 16 years old along with another female passenger aged 15 years old were immediately transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, Keegan Schneeberger (13) was pronounced dead at the scene while Ethan Schneeberger (15) sustained minor injuries but has since been released from hospital.

Investigations are ongoing as authorities try to determine what led up to this horrific event.
