Two LAPD Officers and a Civilian Injured in Mid-City Crash

Three people injured
Two Los Angeles police officers and a civilian were injured on Wednesday morning in a crash involving an LAPD cruiser and another vehicle. The incident occurred near the intersection of Venice Boulevard and Cochran Avenue.
According to authorities, the collision took place shortly after 9 a.m. Both police officers belonged to the LAPD's Wilshire Division, while the civilian was driving another car involved in the accident. A spokesperson for the police department informed ABC7 that all three individuals sustained injuries. At least one person was transported to an unknown hospital with their condition currently undisclosed.
The LAPD SUV came to rest against a light pole located on the center median, and a BMW sedan came to rest on a sidewalk next to a toppled street light, with its rear bumper hanging off.
Authorities are treating this incident as an accident and have initiated an investigation into its cause.
