Two men pronounced dead at the scene
The Tracy Police Department has released the names of the two individuals who tragically lost their lives in a single-vehicle accident on Friday night. The victims have been identified as 34-year-old Amrik Wander and 38-year-old Arvind Ram.
According to a news release from the police department, officers received a call around 9 p.m. on Friday regarding a single-car accident in the 1800 block of North MacArthur Drive in Tracy, California. Witnesses at the scene reported that the vehicle was fully engulfed in flames and that two individuals were trapped inside.
Despite efforts by emergency responders, both Wander and Ram were pronounced dead at the scene. The loss of life is always devastating, particularly when it could have been prevented through measures such as avoiding traffic collisions.
Tracy Police Chief Sekou Millington expressed his condolences to the family and friends of Wander and Ram, stating, "Any loss of life is tragic, especially when attributed to something preventable like a traffic collision."
