Two minors lost their lives in a car accident that occurred late Sunday night in Tampa. The incident took place at the intersection of South 20th Street and Hemlock Street at around 10:52 p.m., as per the Tampa Police Department.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered an 18-year-old and a 17-year-old who had both succumbed to their injuries. The police department stated that excessive speed was one of the contributing factors leading up to the crash.
