Two people killed in Darlington car crash

According to the county coroner, two individuals lost their lives in a collision that occurred on Thursday afternoon in Darlington. The accident took place at around 2 p.m. when a car crashed into a truck at the intersection of Washington Street and U.S. 52 bypass.
Coroner Todd Hardee confirmed that both victims were traveling in the car during the time of impact but did not provide any additional information about them.
Officials stated that an investigation is currently underway, however, no further information has been disclosed.
