One person injured, minor damage to one truck

A resident of Bogard was injured in a collision involving two pickup trucks on Saturday evening in west-central Carroll County. According to the report, one of the drivers, identified as 27-year-old Jacob Crawley from Bogard, sustained minor injuries but refused treatment at the scene. The other driver involved in the accident was identified as 34-year-old Jeremy Olvera from Bogard and he did not report any injuries.

The incident occurred on Route D south of Carroll County Road 190 when Crawley's northbound truck collided with Olvera's southbound vehicle. Following impact, Crawley's pickup went off-road and overturned multiple times causing severe damage to his vehicle while only minor damage was reported for Olvera's truck.

Fortunately, both drivers were wearing seat belts during the time of the accident which helped prevent more serious injuries. No further details have been released regarding what caused this collision or if any charges will be filed against either driver.

Authorities are urging all motorists to remain vigilant while driving and follow traffic rules to avoid such accidents that can cause harm or even fatalities.
