Parts of U.S. 19 in Levy County have been reopened after a crash involving two semi-tractor trailers on Friday afternoon. One of the trucks caught fire and spilled fuel.
Deputies, officials from Florida Highway Patrol, Department of Transportation, and Levy County Fire Rescue were all present at the scene. The northbound traffic was closed near AG-Pro but has since reopened.
Fortunately, only one person sustained minor injuries as a result of the accident. No further details about the incident are available at this time.
