Two Seminole Women Killed in Crash Involving Semi-Truck

A tragic accident involving a semi-truck has claimed the lives of two Seminole women. The incident occurred on Monday evening, approximately one mile south of Denver City on State Highway 214.
Emergency crews swiftly responded to the crash scene shortly after 6:30 p.m. According to reports, a semi-truck was traveling northbound on the highway and attempted to make a left turn onto Ranch Road 2056. Meanwhile, another vehicle driven by Elisabeth Hildebrand, aged 55, was heading southbound on the same highway. Katharina Froese, aged 60, was a passenger in Hildebrand's vehicle.
As fate would have it, tragedy struck when the semi-truck and Hildebrand's vehicle collided in the middle of the roadway during its turning maneuver. Sadly, Hildebrand lost her life at the scene of the accident while Froese was rushed to Yoakum County Medical Center for treatment. Unfortunately, Froese succumbed to her injuries later at the medical center.
Miraculously, despite being involved in this devastating collision that claimed two lives; no injuries were reported for the driver of the truck.
Authorities are currently investigating this heart-wrenching crash as they work diligently to determine its cause and gather all relevant information surrounding this incident.
