Two Vehicle Crash in Jasper County, Missouri

The driver of the grey car sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Mercy Joplin. The occupants of the other vehicle refused medical transport.
JASPER COUNTY, Mo. - On Tuesday, May 2, 2023, a two-vehicle crash occurred in Jasper County, resulting in moderate injuries to one driver.
According to reports, the incident happened just before 3 p.m. and was immediately reported to Jasper County E-911. Responders from Carl Junction Fire, METRO1, METS ambulance, and Jasper County Deputies were dispatched to the scene, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified.
According to a trooper on the scene, a northbound maroon vehicle had pulled into the path of a westbound grey car. The majority of the crash occurred off the roadway in the northwest corner of the intersection.
The male driver of the grey car, who was the only occupant, sustained the most damage and was transported to Mercy Joplin with moderate injuries. He remained awake and alert during transportation. The occupants of the other vehicle refused medical transport to a hospital.
