Two people transported after vehicle accident outside Harrisville

Both lanes closed
The north and southbound lanes of WV-16 have been reopened after a vehicle accident just outside of Harrisville on Sunday. According to Ritchie County 911, the accident involved a car and a trike motorcycle.
Two people were transported to the hospital as a result of the accident. The closure was placed by the intersection of WV-16 and Bunnell Run around 4:30 p.m., but it is not currently known how long the closure will last.
Responders to the incident included the Ritchie County Ambulance Authority, Ritchie County Sheriff’s Department, and Harrisville and Ellenboro VFDs.
