Vehicle Crash at Bray Jewelers in Manchester

An accident on Main Street in Manchester early Friday morning resulted in a vehicle crashing through the front of Bray Jewelers. The incident occurred around 7 a.m., causing significant damage to the store.

According to fire Lt. Ryan O'Connor, both vehicles involved had one occupant each. Both individuals sustained minor injuries and were transported to the hospital for further evaluation and treatment.

Upon arrival at the scene, firefighters immediately assessed the situation to ensure the safety of everyone involved. They took measures to stabilize the building by shoring up its basement before proceeding with removing the crashed vehicle from inside. A flatbed car carrier was used for this purpose.

Contractors arrived shortly after to assess and reinforce the structural integrity of Bray Jewelers' premises. Their primary focus was securing any merchandise that may have been affected by the accident.

The jewelry store was scheduled to open at 9 a.m., with preparations typically starting around 8 a.m.
