Vehicle Crash Closes Portion of I-91 in Windsor

A serious crash caused a portion of Interstate 91 southbound to close down in Windsor on Monday morning. According to reports from state police, the accident occurred near exit 38 when a driver overturned their vehicle. The incident resulted in serious injuries that were reported around 8 a.m.
Drivers were advised by troopers to seek alternate routes as they worked to clear the scene and investigate what caused the crash. "There's no word on what caused the crash," said state police.
The closure lasted for several hours but just before noon, state police announced that the highway had completely reopened.
