A victim who tragically lost their life in a multi-car collision near Shafter, California has been identified as 21-year-old Luis Andree Gallegos Prieto, according to the Kern County Sheriff's Office (KCSO). The incident occurred on Monday, August 14th at around 4:35 p.m. at the intersection of East Lerdo Highway and Driver Road.
According to KCSO, Prieto was operating one of the vehicles involved in the collision. The California Highway Patrol reported that two vehicles caught fire following the crash.
To determine the exact cause and manner of death, KCSO will be conducting a postmortem examination. Further details regarding this tragic incident have not yet been released.
