Jennifer Corado critically injured after being hit by SUV in Clay

The woman was taken to Upstate University Hospital and remains in critical condition.
According to the Onondaga County Sheriff's Office, a 48-year-old woman named Jennifer Corado was critically injured after being hit by an SUV in Clay. The incident occurred on Wednesday when Corado was walking in a crosswalk on Oswego Road and Pine Hollow Road. "The driver stayed on scene following the crash," said Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Thomas Newton.
Corado was taken to Upstate University Hospital where she remains in critical condition as of Thursday. The identity of the driver has not been released by the sheriff's office and no charges have been filed yet as investigations are ongoing.
This incident highlight how important it is for drivers to be cautious while driving and pedestrians to be vigilant while crossing roads or walking along them.
