A 31-year-old woman has died after a single car crash in Montgomery County, according to police. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday in the town of Charleston, at the intersection of State Highway 30A and Fox Street.

The driver, identified as Brianna Scott of Cobleskill, was ejected from the vehicle and taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam, where she later died from her injuries.

Police have stated that alcohol and speed were contributing factors in the crash. No other individuals were involved in the incident.
