Charlotte Wilson Dies in Single-Car Crash in West Plains

The passenger died at the scene and the driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
A woman from West Plains has died in a single-car crash on Saturday evening. The incident occurred around 4:50 p.m. on State Route BB, as reported by the West Plains Police Department.
The vehicle involved was a Hyundai Santa Fe that was traveling northbound when it failed to negotiate a curve and left the road. It then hit two telephone boxes, one tree, and another tree before coming to a stop near a private drive.
The car had two occupants at the time of the accident - the driver who is a 20-year-old man and his passenger, Charlotte Wilson, aged 30 years old. Unfortunately, Wilson passed away at the scene while the driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Authorities are still investigating what caused this fatal accident.
