Woman flown to hospital after single-vehicle crash in Madison Township

Late on Saturday night, a person was involved in a crash that required them to be flown to the hospital. The incident occurred in Madison Township, Butler County.
According to dispatchers for the sheriff's office, "The Butler County Sheriff’s Office and Madison Township Fire and EMS were dispatched to the 7400 block of Franklin Madison Road at 11:18 p.m. on reports of a crash."
While it appeared that only one vehicle was involved, dispatchers could not confirm this as investigations were still ongoing.
Initial reports suggest that during the accident, a woman was thrown from her vehicle which resulted in her needing immediate medical attention. A CareFlight medical helicopter was called to transport her; however, it is currently unknown which hospital she has been taken too or what condition she is in.
The cause of the crash is being investigated by The Butler County Sheriff’s Office.
