LEXINGTON, Ky. (Accident.NEWS) - A woman is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car on Sandersville Road at Atoma Drive. The accident occurred around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday night, according to the Lexington Police.

The vehicle involved in the accident fled the scene, leaving the woman injured on the road. The police are currently investigating the incident and searching for the driver responsible for the hit-and-run.
