On Sunday, a tragic crash occurred on Interstate 80/35 eastbound between the Merle Hay Road and Northwest Second Street exits in Iowa. According to the Iowa State Patrol, Kimberly Louise Barnhart, 40, lost her life in the accident while William Owen Barnhart, 51, sustained injuries. Both individuals were residents of Pleasant Hill.
