Woman killed in three-vehicle crash in Houston

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, and the occupants of the BMW were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police said the driver of the Ford was not hurt and stayed at the scene.
Houston Police Investigate Fatal Three-Vehicle Crash
Houston police are investigating a fatal three-vehicle crash that occurred in the city's southeast area on Friday morning. According to reports, the incident happened at around 6:45 a.m. local time along Galveston Road, also known as Highway 3.
The Houston Police Department (HPD) stated that a woman driving a red Toyota Camry was following behind a black Ford Escape when she hit its left back side. The impact caused the Toyota to roll over and collide with a BMW X3.
An overturned Toyota could be seen lying on its side at the scene. Sadly, the 33-year-old female driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders.
Meanwhile, occupants of the BMW were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries sustained during the collision.
Police confirmed that no one inside of Ford Escape was injured and remained at the site until authorities arrived for further investigation into what led up to this tragic accident.
