Kimberly Murzyn died, child passenger in critical condition, driver of the Sierra stable
A woman lost her life in a fatal car accident that occurred on Saturday night in Largo, Florida. According to the Largo Police Department, the incident took place at around 8:41 p.m. when two vehicles collided at the intersection of Keene Road and Belleair Road.
The police report states that Kimberly Murzyn, aged 38, was driving her Volkswagen Jetta and ran a red light at the intersection before colliding with a GMC Sierra. The impact of the collision caused severe injuries to both drivers and Murzyn's child passenger.
Murzyn was rushed to the hospital but unfortunately succumbed to her injuries while receiving treatment. Her child remains in critical condition as per reports from authorities.
The driver of the GMC Sierra also sustained injuries and was hospitalized but is said to be stable now according to police sources.
Investigations into what led up to this tragic accident are still ongoing by local law enforcement agencies.
