Wreck Involving Semi-Truck and SUV Blocks Traffic in Amarillo

According to the Amarillo Police Department, a wreck involving a semi-truck and an SUV occurred at around 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the intersection of Southeast 10th Avenue and South Arthur Street in Amarillo, Texas. Both vehicles needed to be towed from the scene, but fortunately, no injuries were reported.
The accident caused traffic to be blocked in the area as emergency responders worked to address the situation. One vehicle appeared to be pinned underneath the involved semi-truck. Motorists were advised to consider alternate routes and remain aware of emergency personnel on or near the roadways.
As of 2 p.m., officials continued their efforts at the scene, keeping the intersection blocked while they responded to the incident.
