One person has been killed and three others injured after a police chase ended in a crash in Pasadena, California. The incident occurred overnight when officers observed a suspected DUI driver, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The pursuit began shortly before 1 am on Sunday and came to an end when the suspect's vehicle collided with two cars that were stopped at a red light near the 110 Freeway and Glenarm Street. The identity of the person who died has not yet been released.
Three people were taken to hospital with serious and minor injuries as a result of the collision. It is unclear whether any charges have been filed against the suspect or what led them to flee from police.
