Eleven People Hospitalized After Crash in Sacramento County
Eleven people were rushed to the hospital on Friday afternoon following a crash in Sacramento County, according to officials. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that three of the individuals sustained major injuries, while the others suffered minor injuries or were taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure.
Although juveniles were involved in the accident, it remains unclear how many of those injured were underage. However, CHP did confirm that none of them sustained major injuries.
The collision occurred on Twin Cities Road just east of Interstate 5 when a sedan collided with an SUV. Details regarding the number of occupants in each vehicle have not been disclosed at this time. Furthermore, authorities have yet to determine what caused the crash; however, they have ruled out driving under the influence (DUI) as a factor.
This is an ongoing investigation and further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
