22-Year-Old Man Killed in Crash with Coal Truck

A tragic accident in White Township, Pennsylvania has claimed the life of a 22-year-old man. The incident occurred early Tuesday morning when the victim, identified as Kohl Michael Beatty, crashed into a coal truck on South Sixth Street.
Emergency services were alerted to the scene after receiving reports of a fallen tree and downed wires, along with news of the collision. It was approximately 5:40 am when first responders arrived at the location.
According to the coroner's report, Beatty was traveling southbound when he collided with the back of a tri-axle coal truck. The truck had been moving slowly due to obstructions caused by the fallen tree on the road. Tragically, Beatty succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The investigation revealed that Beatty was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of impact. As a result, his cause of death was determined to be blunt force trauma by the coroner. The manner in which this unfortunate incident occurred has been ruled an accident.
