John Oates Dies in Warren County After Pick-Up Truck Struck by Train

The Missouri Highway Patrol has reported that an 80-year-old man died in Warren County on Sunday when his pick-up truck was struck by a train. The incident occurred just before noon on Sunday, and emergency crews responded to the scene shortly thereafter.
According to police, the victim, identified as John Oates of St. Louis, was on Archer Road, just south of I-70, when he drove into the path of the train. He died at the scene.
The Missouri Highway Patrol has not released any further information about the incident, and it is unclear whether any charges will be filed in connection with the collision.
