9-year-old Bryson Abraham killed in Centerville construction truck crash

A tragic incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon in Centerville, resulting in the death of a 9-year-old boy. The Montgomery County Coroner's Office identified the child as Bryson Abraham on Wednesday morning.
According to reports, around 3:15 p.m., Centerville police received a call about a person hit by a car at the intersection of Revere Village Court and South Main Street. Abraham was walking across South Main Street near Revere Village Court when he was hit by a mid-sized construction truck traveling north on South Main Street in the right lane.
The driver of the truck remained cooperative and stayed at the scene after the crash. However, it is still unclear whether any citations or charges will be filed against them as investigations are ongoing.
Abraham was confirmed to be a rising fourth-grader at Driscoll Elementary School by a spokesperson for Centerville City Schools who expressed their condolences saying "Our thoughts and prayers are with Bryson’s family and friends, and we have support in place for any of our students and staff members who need it."
The Montgomery County Coroner's Office did not provide Abraham's hometown due to Marsy's Law but released his name through an official crash report later that day.
This unfortunate event has left many saddened, especially those close to Abraham. Our hearts go out to his family during this difficult time.
