Passenger dies in car crash in Memphis

A man in Memphis, Tennessee is recounting the terrifying moment when a car crashed into his vehicle and sent one of its passengers flying into a nearby business. Orlanda Williams was sitting in his car at Smith's Pools parking lot for only three minutes when he saw an out-of-control vehicle heading towards him.
Williams managed to crawl out of his passenger-side door but was left dizzy from the impact. He noticed that one of the men involved in the crash had been thrown through a window of a local business while another lay twisted on the ground. Sadly, one passenger did not survive while the driver is recovering from injuries at Regional One.
Memphis Police have stated that excessive speed and reckless driving were responsible for causing this tragic accident. Meanwhile, Williams has expressed gratitude for surviving with only minor injuries.
