Chichester Police and Fire Respond to Motor Vehicle Crash
On Saturday, Chichester police and fire and rescue teams were dispatched to Route 4 for a motor vehicle crash. According to reports, the incident occurred just before 1:45 p.m., when dispatch and police began receiving calls about a car that had crashed into a tractor-trailer truck near Cross Road.
The car was reportedly wedged into the bottom of the truck's trailer, leaving two people injured. Shortly after arriving at the scene, emergency responders prepped both individuals to be taken to Concord Hospital for further treatment.
As more firefighters arrived on site, the fire commander requested additional support from Chichester as well as an ambulance from Epsom. At this time, it is unclear what caused the accident.
