Las Vegas Man Killed While Trying to Save Dog Hit by Car

A Las Vegas man was hit by a car and killed early Tuesday while trying to save his dog who darted out into the street. The man’s dog darted into the intersection and when Holtslander tried to secure the animal, he stepped in front of the Nissan, outside of a marked crosswalk. Both Holtslander and the dog were hit.
