William Hornschemeier Dies in Single-Vehicle Crash in Union Township

A fatal car accident occurred in Union Township, Ohio early Sunday morning. The driver has been identified as William Hornschemeier, 42 years old. Troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol stated that Hornschemeier was driving his 2008 Mazda 3 on Oldaker Road at around 5:00 am when he failed to turn on a curve and crashed into a tree before catching fire.
Unfortunately, Hornschemeier died at the scene of the crash due to severe injuries sustained during the collision. According to troopers investigating the incident, it appears that he was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of impact. Alcohol use is also suspected as being involved in this tragic event.
The investigation into this single-vehicle accident is still ongoing and more details will be released once they become available.
