William Hornschemeier, 42, died in a single-vehicle crash in Union Township, Ohio. He was driving a 2008 Mazda 3 when he failed to turn on a curve, went off the left side of the road, and hit a tree, before catching fire. Alcohol use is suspected.
Four people were injured after a crash in Clark County, Ohio. A 1992 Chevrolet pickup truck and Honda Accord were parked off the side of the road when a 2023 Toyota Camry struck the rear end of the Accord, which went into the truck. One of the truck’s occupants was pinned between the vehicles.
Milan Hiteshbhai Patel, a 30-year-old Amherst man, died in a car crash in Huron County early Tuesday morning. Patel was traveling north along state Route 61 when his Toyota Camry went off the right side of the road, striking a ditch, traffic sign and tree. He was not wearing a seatbelt and was trapped inside the car. It’s unknown if alcohol or drugs were involved.
A man died after a single-vehicle crash in Union County. James Alexander, 68, of Raymond, was traveling northbound on SR 739 while driving a 2002 Chevrolet Suburban at around 7:30 p.m. Alexander crossed the center line and veered off the left side of the road striking a ditch and utility pole before the Suburban overturned.
A 16-year-old girl named Samantha Anders died in a crash in Wayne Township, Ohio on Tuesday morning. She was riding in a minivan driven by Anna Irwin, who was seriously injured. The minivan collided with a Freightliner tractor-trailer and Anders was pronounced dead at the scene.

Frank Kline, a 76-year-old Chardon man, died in a single-car crash in Montville Township, Ohio. The crash occurred on Clay Street and Kline was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
