Driver identified and facing charges after crash with pedestrian in Lexington

According to a news release from the Lexington Police Department, the driver involved in a crash with a pedestrian on Tuesday has been identified and is facing pending criminal charges. The incident occurred at the intersection of Cotton Grove Road and Talbert Boulevard in Lexington.
The driver, Samantha Hoyle, 37 years old and from Lexington, was found to have contributed to the accident. All injured parties are currently receiving treatment at a hospital.
Hoyle is facing pending criminal charges related to the incident; however, details about these charges were not provided by authorities. The investigation into this case is still ongoing.
