Elderly Woman and Three Teenagers Involved in Car Crash

Emergency crews were called to the scene of a car crash at 24th and Terry Avenue on Friday afternoon, where an elderly woman had to be freed from her car using the jaws of life.
Fortunately, it did not appear that either of the two elderly women involved in the collision suffered serious injuries. They were both traveling in a black four-door sedan at the time of impact. Three teenagers who were walking nearby when the accident occurred were shaken but unharmed.
Police and fire officials are urging motorists to slow down between Broadwater Avenue and Central Avenue until they can safely clear up debris from this incident.
