20-year-old Corry woman killed in fatal accident on Route 6 in Erie County

A fatal accident has caused a portion of Route 6 in Erie County to be closed. The incident, which occurred around 2 p.m. on Monday, involved two trucks - one hauling vehicles and the other unknown. According to the Erie County Coroner Lyell Cook, a 20-year-old woman from Corry was killed in the crash.

PennDOT has announced that Route 6 is closed from North Main Street intersection in Elgin to the intersection with Route 89 in Wayne and Concord townships.

The roadway is expected to reopen later today as authorities work towards clearing up the scene of this tragic accident.
