Man Dies in Louisburg Car Crash

The driver died in the crash.
A tragic accident occurred on Tuesday night in Franklin County, resulting in the death of a man. According to reports, emergency crews were called to East River Road near N.C. Highway 56 in Louisburg at around 9:30 p.m.
The driver had apparently run off the road and struck both a culvert and utility pole. Despite efforts by first responders, the driver did not survive the crash.
Officials have stated that speed was not a factor in this incident. As a result of the crash, both directions of East River Road remained closed for several hours while authorities investigated and cleared the scene.
