Maryland State Police Investigate Fatal Crash on Beltway
Maryland State Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Tuesday morning on the Beltway. According to state police, all lanes of the Inner Loop were closed at Exit 41\Cove Road in the Dundalk area due to a crash involving a pickup truck and a tree.
The incident happened shortly after 9:00 AM when troopers were called to the scene. Stephen Richard Becker, 59, of Timonium was pronounced dead at the scene while no other injuries were reported.
The State Highway Administration tweeted around 1:00 PM that Inner Loop lanes had reopened. However, no further information has been released by authorities regarding this accident.
