Fatal Crash on Highway 168 in Fresno: Helena Rhinehart Killed

One fatality, one person with major injuries
The woman who tragically lost her life in a crash on Highway 168 in east central Fresno has been identified as Helena Rhinehart, aged 37, from Clovis. The incident occurred early Tuesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the collision took place shortly after 3 a.m. near the Ashlan Avenue offramp on eastbound Highway 168. A man driving a Dodge Charger reportedly lost control of his vehicle and collided with a white Nissan Altima. The impact caused both cars to veer into the center divider, with the Nissan ultimately coming to rest upside down.
Helena Rhinehart was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) for treatment but sadly succumbed to her injuries at the hospital. Meanwhile, the male driver of the Dodge Charger was also transported to CRMC with severe injuries; however, no updates regarding his current condition have been provided thus far.
Authorities from the Fresno County Coroner's office were responsible for identifying Helena Rhinehart as they continue their investigation into this tragic accident.
